RAILING BRACKET for BREATHING AIR DISTRIBUTION MANIFOLD (BAM)
The BAM Mounting bracket mounts quickly and securely to railings and staging. The bracket comes equipped with a lanyarded ratchet wrench that stores on the side of the BAM receptacle.
The Breathing Air Manifold holder is constructed from14 and 16-gauge stainless steel. All welds are finished and polished to eliminate sharp edges and snags.
The holder is mounted to the rail by swing clamps, which are then secured by threaded sockets that are integral to the clamp. All four (4) sockets are welded on the swing clamp knuckle fasteners. The socket drive ratchet is tethered by stainless braided wire rope and secured to ensure Foreign Material Exclusion (FME). FME is mandatory not only in nuclear power plants but all work forces where safety is paramount . This feature eliminates the possibility of one (or more) of the socket's or the socket drive ratchet from falling off and landing on a worker at a lower elevation
