The PFC-2000 is a high flow, high efficiency, portable HEPA filter/carbon adsorber module which meets the ANSI standard for nuclear grade impregnated carbon of 1/4 second residence time @ 2000 CFM. The upstream pre and HEPA filters pretect the adsorber, improving efficiency and air flow. This unit is an excellent choice for those applications requiring high volume flow rates with high efficiency absorption of radioiodine and noble gases and bag-out filter changing.
The RPS modular adsorber/HEPA unit system reduces required floor space requirement and increases the mobility of the system over composite HEPA/carbon/blower units.
A portable, HEPA filter/carbon adsorber module rated @ 2000 CFM for removal of radioiodine and noble gases.
1. Heavy-duty platform cart with heavy-duty locking casters (two rigid, two swivel) and removable push handle.
2. Integral stainless steel inlet, outlet and bag-out style filter housing.
3. Two 24"x24"x22" charcoal adsorbers rated @ 1000 CFM and 1/4 second residence time.
4. Two metal framed, single gasketed HEPA filters, with wire face guards, 24" x 24" x 11 1/2" rated @ 1000 CFM @ 1.0" wg., 99.97% efficient for 0.3 micron particles. DOP tested @ 100% and 20% of rated flow.
5. Two prefilters, multi-density polyester, 24" x 24" x 2" thick with metal frames.
6. 0-10" wg., Magnahelic differential pressure gage. Monitors pressure across the adsorber, the HEPA filter, and pre-filter.
